Hello World! I am currently based in Chicago. I am a huge fan of free and open-source software, having been enriched by the likes of projects such as:

• GNU, Linux, Debian
• Apache HTTP Server

• MariaDB
• OpenWRT
• Firefox
• GNU Image Manipulation Program
• Inkscape Vector Graphics Software

and countless others.

Speaking of enrichment, my favorite pastime is reading. I have spent many hours listening to the vivid and beautifully descriptive voices of Harper Lee, Mark Twain, J. R. R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert, John Bellairs, Michael Crichton, Arthur C. Clark, to name a few. But my favorite voices happen to be among the Newbery Medal and Honor winners (Lloyd Alexander, Madeleine L'Engle, Robin McKinley, Lois Lowry, etc.).
